Is there an age limit to get into the show?
YES. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance in the festival! This includes designated drivers who must be at least 21 years of age. NO children, toddlers, infants or strollers are permitted. No one will be admitted without a photo I.D. (no exceptions).

Is the event indoor or outdoor?
The Festival is an indoor/outdoor event under tents and will take place rain or shine (no refunds).  There is also a designated outdoor area for smokers (smoking is only permitted in this area).

What does General Admission include?
All attendees pay one fee to get in. All attendees receive a souvenir six oz. tasting glass with a two-ounce pour line. You are welcome to sample any beer that the brewers have. Designated drivers do not receive a tasting glass upon entry.

What does VIP Admission include?

    • Bonus Tasting Hour: VIP Ticket Holders Will Sample Special Seasonal and Limited-Edition Christmas Beers From Around the World. (Beer served during this special bonus hour will NOT be served at the General Session).
    • Free Meal Ticket

Will food be available?
VIP ticket holders receive a free meal ticket. Food does not come with the price of general admission ticket. The food menu at the festival is as follows.

  • Brat wurst
  • Pulled pork
  • Chicken tenders - Buffalo style
  • Hot dogs
  • French fries
  • Soft pretzels
  • Water

What is the rate for the designated drivers?
Designated Drivers will be charged $10 dollars per ticket.

How does the designated driver ticket work?
The designated driver ticket works the following way. The designated driver pays $10 to get in. They are able to enjoy all the activities of the festival except they are not allowed to drink any beer. Any designated driver ticket holder who breaks the designated driver rule will be immediately removed from the festival.

How can I buy tickets for this event?
VIP tickets are available online only and must be purchased in advance. No VIP tickets will be sold on event day. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your tickets on line in advance of the Festival to avoid sellouts. Only a limited number of tickets will be made available for purchase. What time do the doors open for each session?
Doors open at 12:30 pm for VIP Session (Session begins at 1:00 pm).
Doors open at 2:00 pm for GENERAL ADMISSION Session.

Where is CLIVEDEN located?
Cliveden is located at 6401 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144. It is located in Mt. Airy, approximately 1.5 miles from Chestnut Hill and approximately 15 blocks east of McMenamins.

How do I get Cliveden?
Cliveden is located at 6401 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144.

Via the PA Turnpike (1-276) take exit 333 (formerly Exit 25, Norristown) and follow Germantown Pike east about 7 miles to Cliveden on the left. Enter from Cliveden Street.

Via the Schuylkill Expressway (1-76) take exit 340 (formerly Exit 32) to the Lincoln Drive. Turn right onto Johnson Street (third light) then left onto Germantown Avenue (fourth light). Take the first right onto Cliveden St. Entrance gate is on the right at the end of the first block.

Travel time from center city locations is approximately 25 minutes; 10 minutes to the Chestnut Hill shopping district.

Via public transportation available via the R8 (Chestnut Hill West) commuter rail line (Upsal Station), R7 (Chestnut Hill East) commuter rail line (Washington Lane Stop), or the Route 23 bus.

Cliveden is located on the northeast corner of Germantown Avenue and Johnson Streets in Mt. Airy, just 1.5 miles from Chestnut Hill. Visitors enter through the pedestrian gate at the rear of the property on Cliveden Street.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. There is handicapped parking on-site., enter Cliveden on Morton Street.

Is there on-site parking?
Yes, there is free on-site parking across the street from Cliveden at the church.

Festival Rules

  • 21+ Only. Must show valid photo I.D. for admission.
  • Don’t drink and drive! Take mass transit or designate a driver.
  • Promotional photos and video will be taken at the event and you grant permission for your likeness to be used.
  • Drink responsibly, Know your limits!
  • This is a sampling event, 2oz. pours only!
  • All attendees must be properly attired.
  • We reserve the right to check all bags
  • No pets or children allowed.
  • No outside glassware or food permitted.
  • You get one souvenir glass for this event. Replacements $5.00 ea.
  • We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual(s) from the festival for behaving inappropriately, You will be escorted out by security and not allowed back in!
  • All exits are final. No alcohol permitted outside the event.
